NiftyKit Release Update – 6.6
OpenSea Registry and Token Access.
In this release, we’re addressing a few things that have been top of mind for much of the NFT community. Let’s jump right in.
OpenSea Registry
At NiftyKit, we recently took a pro-creator stance on royalties and have since received a lot of positive support and feedback. As a part of the greater NFT community standing up, we’ve been able to push OpenSea to change their initial stance – and in turn respect creator royalties.
To address the OpenSea change, NiftyKit will give creators the option to opt-in to use OpenSea’s royalty registry for all newly created collections. By using their registry, your royalties will be respected on OpenSea.
FYI: collections launched between Nov 8 and Nov 22, 2022 may not be compatible with OpenSea’s royalties. If you’re having issues with this, please contact NiftyKit support.
Please keep in mind – the OpenSea royalty registry is controlled entirely by OpenSea and is subject to change based on their discretion. NiftyKit has no control over what might change with this registry.
Token Access In Collections
Token access is an easy way to provide your collectors with a custom, gated experience.
With this latest update, we’ve made it so you can run multiple gated experiences all from a single page. Customize your interface (eg. avatar, background) and use one URL for all your experiences.
If you already have a Creator Pass log into your account to try it out.
We appreciate all the feedback to help us build in the right direction. Not a NiftyKit member? Sign up and launch your first smart contract and NFT in minutes.
